About Hen in a Hurry:
“Chef prepared meal subscriptions made with clean, sustainably sourced, responsibly raised ingredients from our trusted farmers and purveyors.
No Waste. No Prep. No Preservatives. Just heat and enjoy!”
Connection to ALS:
Hen in a Hurry is owned by Lee Comer who has been a longtime supporter of The ALS Association of North Carolina. Lee and her twin sister Sandy Davis lost their Grandmother (who raised them both since birth along with their Grandfather), JoAnn Ferrell to this disease 19 years ago this October 6th. Lee also serves as a Board Member of the Association and is committed to supporting all efforts to finding a cure and helping the families that are affected by this disease. Our hope is that Eat to Defeat ALS will become a fruitful annual event and an opportunity for the ALS community to gather in their own homes to share in fellowship, supper and saving lives.
